Batman is, without question, the most famous superhero of all time across the entire world. Billionaire Bruce Wayne’s crime fighting journey as he seeks to rid his town of Gotham off of evil has had an outsized impact on pop culture and we, at Jewelry Brands, have an awesome Batman collection to celebrate this very fact.

Batman on the big screen so far!

Batman is the king of comic books for a reason. There have been 9 solo Batman flicks so far, in addition to 5 teamup movies starring the character. The countless TV series, animated flicks and video games are in addition to this fact and showcase the sheer popularity of the character across different mediums.

The first Batman live action flick released all the way back in 1966 and starred Adam West as the Caped Crusader. Tim Burton’s dark and broody Batman films followed in 1989 and 1992, with Micheal Keaton now taking on the role. A backlash to Burton’s grim sensibilities would be followed by Joel Schumacher making the next two flicks extremely goofy, with Val Kilmer and George Clooney donning the persona respectively.

Christopher Nolan would then come to the character’s rescue, successfully resurrecting him for modern audiences. Teaming up with Christian Bale to make his Batman trilogy, Nolan’s flicks are considered some of the greatest superhero movies of all time. Nolan’s fascinating dive into the Batman psyche was only rivaled by his insane rogues gallery with his take on classic Batman villains winning fans the world over.

Ben Affleck then played the Caped Crusader in DC’s interconnected onscreen universe. Going off against Superman in 2016, Affleck’s Dark Knight led the Justice League in two films in addition to appearing in The Suicide Squad and The Flash as well. After Affleck segued out of the role, Robert Pattinson inherited the cowl for 2022’s The Batman, due for a sequel in 2027.
